Killarney Bikefest 2011
In our first year at Irelands 5th Bikefest held in the beautiful surroundings of the Gleneagle Hotel we were delighted not only to attend as traders but more so because we had contributed in the customisation's of so many of the magnificent machines on display there that weekend. With over 30,000 attending the event ,we met so many friendly faces that we had done work for over the years as well as countless others thatwere very interested in what we do at Tallaght Powder Coating. To top this we then discovered on the final day, that two of the bikes that Dublin Harley entered in the custom show came first & second in their respective catorgories and T.P.C had a hand in the painting of both bikes with Brian Kirwan's especially recieving alot of praise. We painted well over 50 items on this bike, so it was a real reward for all our hard work leading upto the weekend.
The event itself was amazing with a real festival atmosphere, great people, amazing bikes, fantastic music and as well as all that the organisation was outstanding solely down to Martin Brett.
Can't wait for 2012 where Killarney Bikefest promises to bigger and better than ever !



Mr Kirwan does it again in England 2011
Big congratulations to Brian Kirwan - Dublin Harley's answer to the American Chopper / Orange County boys, whose bike won 'Best Big Twin' at the Heart & Soul Rally in Newcastle, England a few weeks ago. This is the second year running that he has claimed this award and somehow we don't think it will be the last award he wins ! Tallaght Powder Coating with Brian's input painted the wheels on his Harley especially for this event with a slick black and red pin stripe custom job. Brian built this amazing bike in the Dublin Harley Davidson workshop !

Tallaght Powder & Dublin Harley Davidson
Following on from 2009 when we were undertaking small amounts of work for Jeff Murphy ( Owner ) & Kenny ( DHD Chief Mechanic ) Tallaght Powder Coating are delighted and very proud to announce that we are official powder coaters now for Dublin Harley Davidson.

In November 2010 we had been inundated with jobs for the biggest name in motorcycles so asked the guys for an endorsement of which they duly obliged. Since then we have undertaken many and varing jobs for the lads in Dublin Harley Davidson



Tallaght Powder & Classic Motorcycles of Wicklow
We are also very proud to be working so closely with the lads in Classic Motorcycles helping them to restore the fabulous old bikes that they are bringing in from the U.S.A. The aim at Classic Motorcycles is to offer the widest selection of ready-to-ride classic and collectible motorcycles from the late 60s to the early 80s, with an
emphasis on top quality bikes. They specialise in Japanese machines but do sometimes also have European models available.

The lads are real enthusiast and work so hard to meet their customers needs and expectations.


Aidan Lynam & the Recession Racer
We have teamed up with Aidan Lynam this year and offered our services to him in his quest to get back out on the track at Mondello.
( think he's having a mid life crisis ) Eugene Laverty has signed to ride for the Factory Yamaha Team in the World Superbike series and he was recently inducted into the ‘Dead Duck Racing Team’ at the Irish Motorbike Show in Dublin’s RDS. Dead Duck Racing (DDR) is a group of friends in Ireland all of whom ride motorcycle’s and who have dedicated themselves to raising funds and indeed awareness for Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI).

DDR was founded in 2007 when founder Aidan Lynam blew up a Kawasaki ZX6 he had generously been loaned on a fundraising trackday for DSI in Mondello Park, Co. Kildare. When the owner of the said ZX6 saw his engine he just said ‘No more Kwacker, Dead Duck’ and the rest as they say is history.
Aidan works tirelessly for the DSI association so we were happy to lend our support for such a great cause and offer the powdercoating services for his race wheels.
